Moselectroshield products receive Certification from PJSC Rosseti

Moselectroshield (a member of the NEC Group) has received a positive assessment from the certification committee of PJSC Rosseti for the use of its K-134 gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) in the company’s power networks.
The certification process included a comprehensive review of the equipment’s compliance with PJSC Rosseti’s technical requirements, corporate standards, and industry regulations. It also involved an analysis of supply chain reliability for key components and an assessment of potential risks related to maintenance and service support.
The K-134 GIS was developed by Moselectroshield as part of the import substitution programme, commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The equipment is now in serial production at the company’s manufacturing facility in Kovrov, Vladimir Oblast.
Moselectroshield has established a full production cycle for K-134 GIS bays. The monoblock design incorporates domestically produced components from companies within the NEC Group, including current transformers and relay protection terminals. Particular emphasis is placed on design reliability and quality: all welding operations are performed using robotic welding complexes, and tank hermeticity is verified in an automated vacuum chamber.
The K-134 GIS is suitable for a wide range of applications requiring reliable power supply with minimal maintenance — including power grid companies, civil infrastructure facilities, industrial plants, and data centres. It is one of the most convenient and cost-effective solutions for medium-voltage power distribution in block-type and indoor transformer substations. The K-134 GIS is safe in operation, immune to climatic factors, easy to install and operate, and features compact dimensions.
